Well, we hope that you enjoyed the New Years Eve Eve Dance on the 30th December. Paul Sleem was great as usual and we also heard from Fred Diamonds band the Newtons. It was so great to see so many of you there enjoying yourselves and also mixing with non-member friends and those who had travelled from the other stakes. We had more than 100 youth in attendance, which was really good considering that the weather that day was so bad and also the fact that there had been some really bad traffic jams. Thanks to all who helped to set up and clear up and man the car parks.
We, as a Stake Young Womens Presidency are really excited about this New Year and are looking forward to the many activities that are being planned. We are planning a Young Womens camp in April and there will also be a Youth Conference to look forward to in the summer, plus many other things.
We hope that you will continue with your Personal Progress, just as we are, and that we can share our experiences together.
Don't forget the fireside on Sunday (8th January) at 7.30pm, we look forward to meeting with you. Please bring along your scriptures, notebook and pen/pencil. We are going to be hearing from members of our Stake Presidency. We want you to know that we love you all and want to get to know you better.
